Energy cost and reduction of carbon dioxide emissions engage building professionals to optimize the management of existing buildings and the design of new constructions. Renewable resources such as wind, light and sun can heat and cool any building. AirDesignLab is the expert of climatic simulation and experimentation to reduce the use of mechanical and non-renewables resources.

In six years of activity we have become a pilot laboratory contributing to the French energetic transition by working with key players. We conducted the first mixed-mode ventilation study for one of the largest shopping center in France with wind tunnel test to improve indoor air quality but also to use natural cooling in the building. We built the first "artificial sky" in France to test and improve daylighting on physical model.

AirDesignLab is finalist of Grand-Prix de l'Innovation de la Ville de Paris, 2012.
